Can anyone else help with this? I INSERT a new record anywhere in the DBGrid
and i just got this message i did this from order sql explorer and i got the same
results, but used an INSERT command from another program and it will work fine.
I’m incredibly stuck here!

Are you assigning all primary keys to a trigger? Don’tDon’t do this if you’re typical

Instead, use a meaningful stored procedure to get the true value from the generator, and
Name this internal value OnNewRecord using the BeforePost handler.
In any case, you can use these tricks to avoid all these problems:
1- Do not use errors in this table. If your table in the hall is one of the common varieties of
(code, description), this requirement is not difficult to fulfill. 2-
Set (description) as unique key.

The condition is that the BDE is moved to the data source.
